He was born in 1982 in Patra, Greece and his first contact with music started at an early age. He used to spend many hours listening to records and experimenting with mixers and consoles in the record shop that his father owned. A house mixed tape, given from his older cousin as a gift, introduced him to the world of electronic music. The unique sounds and lifestyle of electronic music, in contrast with the preservative environment of his hometown, didn't deter him from collecting and discovering new sounds. Meanwhile, the rave revolution came in Greece and Tryfonas in his early teens started performing his own dj-sets and later on at several beach bars-clubs-cafe and radio stations. Today his music is strictly dance underground techno, electro, minimal, tech-house, with influences from oldschool and acid sounds, mixed with full effect techniques. Now after graduating, attending many seminars and courses, Tryfonas Theodorou (aka a$id tRf) started professionally to produce his own music.
