July is entering its last week and we are in the heart of summer. It is time for a little vacation, don't ya think? Tomorrow we'll be leaving behind our headquarters in Athens, for a sunnier & bluer scenery. We are still thinking of our listeners staying behind though: the radio program will operate smoothly as usual.

The legendary UK techno duo of Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle have travelled far and wide, touring Australia, the USA , Europe, South America and Japan and they hold residencies at 2 of the UK's best clubs (Pressure in their home town of Glasgow and Fabric in the nation’s Capital, London). 2008/2009 has been one of their busiest periods ever. Performing dynamic sets at many of the world’s leading festivals including Monegros, Oxygen, Bestival, 10 days off, Extrema, Glastonbury and T In The Park, they have also played at some of the world’s best clubs including the legendary Womb In Tokyo, Cocoon in Frankfurt, Rex in Paris and Berlin's infamous Watergate and Berghain to name a few.

Their new label Paragraph sees the pair focus on their own productions entirely. The first release “City Destroyer”, with its sinister pitched vocals and crafty, crisp and skippy electronic soundscapes, secured club plays from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer and Laurent Garnier. Paragraph 2, “Hot Knives”, was even bigger staying in the Beatport top 10 for 10 weeks with plays from just about every big name including Carl Craig, Anja Schneider, Dave Clarke and Dubfire. There will be an album with an exCiting new concept based around Paragraph later in the year.

First contact with electronic music happened at the age of 15. After a lot of experiments with various types of electronic music, the Techno sound was the style that won him over. By playing as a Dj in small Clubs, he created a 10-year career for himself in the Greek Club Land. In 2002 the team Firefinger -with Panagiotis Drakos-was created, presenting a great number of succesful Techno events, both in Athens and in provincial towns. The acquaintance with the already known Techno Dj's and Producers, Spiros Kaloumenos and Axel Karakasis, has led to the participation of the latter in their events in big Clubs of Athens,so far.

In December 2007, Dennis Bunas made his debute release in "Omega Audio Recordings" with the track "vital". But his love for Techno music couldn't stop. He couldn't just remain a Dj & Producer, so the collaboration with Spiros Kaloumenos & Takkiz Drakos led to the creation of their own techno label -----Analog Mode Records----- Analog Mode records is a concept thought by these 3 Greek techno DJ's & Producers, and it's going to become one of the biggest labels in the techno scene. Expect only the best from this label...
